Sidewalks (the length of at least one block) must be cleared of snow and ice within 48 hours after every snow fall. If the owner or person in possession of a premises adjacent to the sidewalk fails to remove snow and ice within 48 hours, the city will have it removed and charge a minimum fine of $200 to the owner or person in possession of the abutting property per violation.
